McCarthy Partners, The American Heart Association is dedicated to building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke - McCarthy has been a key partner of the AHA for many years. The great work of the AHA is deeply embedded in our corporate Wellness program, and the programs of many of our subcontractor friends, and we are all on our way to being healthier, and happier, and more productive because of that partnership. This is all even more important when you consider that heart disease and its evil cousin stroke are the No. 1 and No. 4 killers of both men and women in this country. The ongoing effort to defeat these two killers is intense and expensive, and the funds raised on behalf of the AHA makes possible the incredible research that is ongoing at universities and medical centers around the world (many of them built by McCarthy). The really good news is its working -- tremendous progress has been made in the last few years, and more incredible breakthroughs are just around the corner. All it takes to win is talent, passion, and money — and the money part is where you come in. Our chance to help the funding efforts of the AHA comes each year with the Heartwalk. There are over 350 Heart Walks across the country –if you would like to participate in a Heart Walk at another location, please contact Megan Millar and she will help you set up a team for your office. This is not easy, but it is so worth it. Please find the time to help McCarthy exceed its goals, and please let Megan help you.
