Message from Dan Lipman, Senior Vice President

Westinghouse employees are encouraged to participate in all aspects of community service. From fundraising to public office to youth and recreation programs, we appreciate our employee contributions. Our company actively contributes to programs that benefit nonprofit organizations, like the American Heart Association. We encourage programs that help to meet the needs of our communities, and populations such as the disadvantaged, the young, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Westinghouse is taking a leadership role in the 2011 American Heart Association's Start! Heart Walks, with events being held this fall across the nation. These events are a great opportunity for Westinghouse to continue to promote health and wellness throughout our company, and raise funds to combat the No. 1 health issue among our associates and families – heart disease. Westinghouse has made a commitment as a sponsor for the Heart Walk, and I will be acting as chair for the event in Pittsburgh.  I’m looking forward to showing what we can do at Westinghouse to make a difference.
