Join a My Heart. My Life. Marathon Training

What is the American Heart Association’s My Heart My Life Marathon Training program?

The American Heart Association recommends a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity each day. YOU can train to complete a marathon or half-marathon, whether it’s your first or fiftieth. Support the American Heart Association’s efforts to save lives from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by joining My Heart My Life Marathon Training.

Our skilled coaches will craft a training plan (whether you prefer to walk or run) that will take you from the first step to the finish line of a marathon or half-marathon event.  No previous experience is necessary. You will be invited to take part in weekly group trainings while you raise lifesaving funds for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.

Each My Heart My Life Marathon Training Location across the country offers weekend trainings. We also offer a virtual program that will provide the tools you need to be successful at home. Our volunteer coaches will hold training clinics with information about correct running form, stretching, shoes, clothing, nutrition and more throughout the training season.
